DTN COMMENTS: Southern asking prices are starting out around $186 to $187 
but are still not established in the North. Bids remain very elusive in 
all areas. Significant trade volume will likely be delayed until 
Wednesday or later. 

Beef cutouts are higher at midday (choice 300.36 +1.60, select 292.91 
+3.16) with light box movement (25.99 lds of choice cuts, 11.47 lds of 
select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 15.55 lds of ground). Cattle futures 
at midday are sharply higher on both live and feeder contracts.
